From the day we met, it marks the beginning of our journey.

Between the Lines

Remember I just recently blogged about the book from Jodi Picoult and her daughter, Samantha?

Well I just finished reading the book.

It was so exciting that I can't put the book down, so I finished half of the book tonight.

I know I am supposed to be sleeping by now since I have a brunch date later,

Then again, the characters in the book seem so real to me that I don't wanna put it down.

After all the green tea that I just drank isn't a big help to me when comes to sleeping,

Cause I can't sleep.

Duh..

:)

Anyway..
It's a rather good book for young adults..
Perhaps for someone who are way younger than me..
Then again,
I think it's great for people my age too..
(Heck, people my age, children, and some middle age adults read crap like Twilight could possibly enjoy the book too)
But I don't want to compare Twilight with Picoult's book..
Cause Twilight plot is just..
Crappy.


I think Picoult's daughter, Samantha managed to capture the thoughts and bring the thoughts alive of most avid readers..
Who sometimes wondered how is it like to be a character in a book..
And wanting the character in the book to be real
The book is a "fairy tale" like story with great illustrations..

I am still trying to take in the ending of the book.
And reminding myself that it's a young adult fiction..
After all I'm so used to reading real life issues that it makes something fun a little hard to take in after I finish reading the ending..

I am not going to spoil the story for people who wanted to read the book.

So I shall leave this blog post hanging..

I think it'll make a great cartoon..

I can almost imagine Pixar turning the story into a movie:)

Nikon P7100 FINALLY!

I finally got myself..

I admit it's not my usual type of book but I want to see how good those two can be when they team up to write

I also just got myself..

(or maybe it might be my parents gift for my birthday which is a month away)

A Nikon P7100 camera!

After years of wanting a new camera to replace my ancient ridiculously lousy Olympus camera,

I finally managed to persuade my parents to get me this 

(or I managed to save up enough to get myself this)

Unlike some people who can own a DSLR because their parents got it from them, but they leave it at home to collect dust,

I do not want a DSLR since I want to figure out how to use a semi pro camera first before I move on to a more complex camera..

After all this camera isn't that bulky for me to carry it around:)

Plus it took me long enough to save up enough money to get myself a new gadget.
And also finally made up my mind to get this:)

Hello there

Hello people!

I know I have been MIA for a bit..

I've had things to do.

First thing first.

I am done with my finals, and I am almost done with things.

I am not going to mention what "things" it is since I don't wanna jinx it.

I'll put it up here when I am finally done with it.

I got myself an internship placement.

Pretty soon after I sent in my resume:)

(Like one day after I sent in my resume, I got a reply)

And it's my first choice from the two other places that I planned to apply to.

But I sent it to the place whereby I thought it might be a great place to work at and learn something from it.

So yeah, I got in and I am delighted!

I don't wanna get too happy about it cause again I don't wanna put too much hope.

But one thing though,

I am going to begin my internship at least 2 weeks before the rest.

Which means, I have like 2 weeks more to go before my internship begins.

Right now, I have to get my data collection done 

(since I'm doing my final year dissertation).

Thanks to my sis and one of her friend, I managed to get about half done?

I owe those two girls something though and I have to look around for it.

I met my boss today, and she is really welcoming.

I have quite a good feeling about the place *fingers cross*

Then I had this amazing cup of soy mocha with Jyun and Baezil..

Hung out with an interesting bunch of people.

Watched Spiderman (It was good! Love the fighting scene very much)

And of course Emma Stone is there, man I love watching movies with her in it.

I'll update more later.

Gotta get things sorted out and it's almost midnight.

I am almost there.

I just need to hang on..

If I make it, I know I will and I must.

It'll be on me.
