One day at a time: September 2013

It's almost time to bid goodbye to the month of September.

I've been crazy busy and occupied to think about updating my blog properly.

Actually, I've been lazy to update my blog.

Not to mention my internet connection has been really bad.

Reasons huh? :P

Anyway this is gonna be a long post filled with pictures:)

Towards the end of August up to September

Start off with Yeast.

We thought of going to Antipodean for brunch because we felt like having a good brunch.

However, that place was filled with people.

So we went next door to Yeast for brunch :)

It's a french base cafe with a really good ambiance.

Not forgetting good pastries

(well that's what I read from reviews and from what Jyun said when he went there with her cousins)

I've been wanting to go there for quite sometime.

So when Antipodean was packed we thought why not give Yeast a try:)

We sat at the bar as it was packed there too.

Since we came in twos it was easier for them to provide us a space with all the crowd.

Yes, there were quite a long waiting list but I guess we were lucky as we didn't need to wait long?

Jyun had this (can't remember what is it called but I had a bite, OMG! It was delish)

I decided to opt for their pastries since I was hankering for them.

Inside there's melted cheese and duck.

The pastry was crispy buttery.

One bite it takes for you to taste the butter linger in your mouth.

Oh so heavenly.

Some au chocolate pastry.

I just had chocolate pastry the same week and the pastry tastes better.

This one was so so..

We wanted to go back for dessert that evening.

But desserts will only be served from 9pm onwards.

Anyway, we are going back there some other day for their food and dessert..

Just don't know when..

We headed over to Antipodean for desserts instead and coffee..

I got my cup of cappuccino.

Literally squealed with delight at the sight of such beautiful coffee art :)

Their cappuccino didn't disappoint me :D

His hot chocolate.

Pancakes.

It was..

Soso?

Not to say I didn't enjoy it..

But I was expecting more?

Butterscotch tasted like kaya.

Is it supposed to taste like that?

Joined Jyun and his friends for BBQ get together.

It was my baby sister's 17th birthday!

White chocolate macadamia nut cake.

It was rather yucky for me..LOL

I finally got together with Mei Shan after 4 years!

What's else in September?
Urhm..
Well I got into an accident.

It was..

Rather scary as I was alone (AGAIN)

And I was in somewhere dodgy.

I usually use the route back home.

Anyway Klang is a dodgy place.

Anyhoo, at least this time it wasn't a hit and run unlike two years back where the taxi driver left me stranded in the middle of the highway after he banged my car.

FUCK YOU BASTARD.

I got yelled at pretty bad by dad that time although it isn't my fault *rolles my eyes*

So this time when I got into an accident,

Despite me being near home and being in such a dodgy place..

I still thought of not calling my dad and see if I could solve it myself.

But the damage was quite bad (the door)

And the man was nice enough to offer to pay for the damage (although later he called my dad and said that he couldn't afford to and we can claim from his insurance instead).

Ended up calling my dad and thank goodness didn't get yelled at this time

(My dad doesn't know how to make anyone feel better after a terrible incident/accident).

Anyway he still blames me for that said I wasn't careful enough.

The fuck!?

Regardless of how careful I am on the road,

Things like this cannot be avoided if there are so many reckless crazy Malaysian drivers on the road.

Anyway, I didn't wanna dwell into it.

At least I got my car back now within a week.

Not bad eh?

Thanks to the certain someone I could get to work as usual..

Back to more happy things..

We went back to The Bread Shop for pastries and coffee

Their latte was surprisingly good

Jyun's mocha? Or was it hot chocolate

Their chocolate pastry was soooo good:)

So chocolaty

We had a dog outing with my cousin sister and my baby sister

Yeah the poodles sure are horny.

Kept going on at each other on my sister's lap (awkward?)

That's my dog:)

He just turned nine years towards the end of August.

The kids love my dog.

My dog was very well behaved that it freaked my sis and I out.

We were waiting for the moment for him to explode and started to attack people.

Anyway, other dogs were trying to be friendly with him but he walked away.

He was looking at people instead (pretty ladies to be specific as he would tailed behind them).

Or sit by the window looking at cars passing by while the rest of the dogs played with each other.

In dogs world he may be socially awkward.

Or perhaps he's just shy.

He is just not used to seeing so many people and dogs all in one place.

But heck! He was happy :)

Anyway some kids even mentioned that my dog must be old.

Wow that obvious huh?

Despite of his old age he is still quite puppy like :)

My cousin sister asked me to be her partner to bake and decorate cookies for the dogs.

We got second place by the way.

Pretty surprising considering we don't have any baking experience or decorating cookies experience.

We sort of winged it ;)

We were judged by some Japanese lady judges based on our cookies design.

My dog spat out the cookies when my sis force feed him with it when he doesn't wanna eat it after smelling it.

I feel insulted.

After that we went for Japanese food at Zen (I think it's Zen)

I also just turned twenty-two.

It's a bit surreal.

Although it's not a big number compared to twenty-five or thirty.

I mean just saying.

The figure itself is a bit big for me.

Not that I am complaining.
Because I still get questions from my clients about my age and followed by their look of surprise and comment about how young I look.

It's in the genes you see.

I thought I just turned twenty one recently?
Jokes..

HAHAHAHAHAHHA.

Looks doesn't matter anyway.

What I do when I am still young and not waste the time I have is way more important.

I got this gorgeous dress from a boutique.

So I decided why not wear it on my birthday :)
