ITS FRIDAY!

So today isn't exactly my day then.
For some reason..
I am rather distracted today than any other days..
I kept having this nagging feeling that I needa get something done, but I don't know what is it.

I drove to campus today without my dad sitting next to me for the very first time.
The traffic isn't a bitch and that's a surprise.
Journey to campus was smooth and its was like an extraordinary thing to me knowing that I usually bumped into some assholes on the road.

Note : I am not exactly a very patient driver or a good driver either. *shrugs*

When I got home, my dad did an inspection on my car for any scratches.
Typical him.
I know right?!
Anyway, he found scratches on the door of my car which is..weird?
Cause I don't remember bumping into anything=____=
Then again, I can't see the scratches..
I mean its..
Not visible??

Then how is it that your dad can spot them, you may ask..
Hrm...
Let me see..
My dad, has a pretty sharp eyes when comes to taking care of his babies,
And the cars are one of his babies.

I got a lil confused about certain things here and there..
I've noticed a certain pattern in the people whom I just met,
Which, is..
Crazily scary I must say..
Its hard not to notice but I guess I'll deal with it.

I'll have my ONE week break from campus soon..
And I think I am looking forward to it.
:)
I can do with some catching up with my old pals..
That reminds me of Jin Han, and my other bestie^^

You know what?
Its hard not to notice the sullen mood today..
I mean this evening..
Cause as I am typing this out in my room during this sorta cold evening..
(It just poured heavily)
The radio station that I usually listen to most of the time..
Isn't playing the usual lively song..
There's this endless slow and unlively-ish songs on air.

In a way..
I find it rather comforting.

For now..
Happy weekends I guess?
I still needa figure out what is missing..
Or what did I left out*looks around my room*
Hrm...

BOOKSSS!

OMG!!!
Jodi Picoult has just release her new book!!
The one below :

Since its still new..
I think they'll have that gigantic size book printed instead of the usual smaller ones that I usually purchase..
And I am actually hoping that the coming book fair will have that book..
I might actually buy that book without bothering if there're any discount for it or not..=X

Oh yeah..
A few weeks ago(can't remember when)..
I read that book above by Khaled Hosseini..
He's an author for The Kite Runner(I still am hunting for the book actually),
Its a good read.
I must give that author credit for doing such a brilliant job writing that book..
And all the time when I was reading that book I've been wondering what makes him understand issues like that so intensely.
I usually read books with themes like that from a women since they are usually writing for their experience.

He's such an awesome writer:)
He transports me to another world just like how good authors will do..

And that reminds me of another book that I've read..
I've forgotten the title of the book..
Since I don't really like the story line(its downright dull)
Same thing over and over again, predictable..
Though its written based on the author's experience..
But still..
I gotta give her credit for writing and publishing that book..

Did I mention anything about my all time favourite bookstore in this country?
Its not that hard to dig for good reads,
Since there are heaps of good authors around..
Not to say I am not selective when comes to reading,
But reading books from a different range of authors is an eye opening experience?
Though I don't remember reading any books from our local writers, except for that Sweetheart from Hell, which I find it a utter waste of time reading it..
And gosh!
I love that expression of a "sweetheart from hell".
Anyway, my point is..
That I absolutely love spending time in the MPH bookstore.
It has been ages since I've been in there(a few months maybe)..
Compared to the year before..
I usually visit the store a couple of times a week?
The smell of new books and the bookstore itself is that intoxicating..
And all I havta do after a not so good day is to spend my time in that bookstore browsing at books..
Though I havta refrain myself from purchasing a couple of books whenever I am in that store.

*checked mphonline*
*gasps*
Ohhhhhh...shitttt...
Sophie Kinsella has another new book..
And Cecelia Ahern too!
Right right..
Those are chick-lit books and are books meant for me to have a good laugh reading them..
Come to think about it..
I actually have endless list of books that I would wanna get my hands on..
And yesh, I love Sophie Kinsella's books..
She has this tendency to make me laugh so hard reading her books..
I remember the first book from her that I read which is Can You Keep a Secret,
A birthday present from Audrey, but a bitch borrowed it and lost that precious book of mine..
Anyway, that book made me laughed so much that I teared and I think that book is the reason why Audrey and I were so close back then..X)

Jeez! I can't wait for the bookfair!^^
I know I've been jumping from this subject to that..
But that's the thing about books..
It makes me feel uber excited over the prospect of owning them..
*look over my shoulders at my bookshelves*
*gulp*
I think I'll havta make space for my new book collection..
*grins*
Good thing that my parents are cool with me buying heaps of books at once..
And good thing that I've managed to brainwashed my lil sis into the habit of reading cause the next thing I am gonna do is to manipulate her into buying heaps of books at once just like me, then we can both swap!:)
But for now, I am the one who buy her all the books she wants..
She has this tendency to talk to me into buying things for her=____=
Like yesterday, she managed to get me to buy her a soft toy(she's a fan of those)..
But my mom doesn't allow me to get that for her..
Since she has tonnes of them at home already..

Yeah yeah..
I am blabbering here..
Just had my cup of coffee and its pouring and its Sunday and I woke up from a nightmare and mom gave me a piece of her mind(well sorta) and ugh..

Yaaaa daaa yaaaa daaaa...
I am gonna stop her and get going with my tasks.

Till then..

"Hell is empty and all the devils are here"
-William Shakespeare-

PS : Did I tell you guys that I am so lucky to have my mom and dad as my parents? Cause I very well know that I don't wanna be a daughter of some good for nothing parents.

My week?

Yesterday..

I had my tutorial.
And we played with soft toys!!
Urhm..its some problem solving thing we havta do with the aid of the soft toys.

And so, each one of us got our turn..

Carmen while waiting for her turn,
She's the fastest to solve that whatever we call it..X)

Urhm..
Each and every soft toys from the Psychology department..
Has a name..
The lion on the table, is Simba, but the sheep..
Uh..I don't remember its name..
Shhhh!
They are sensitive lil thing..
Hence they can't know that people like me can't recall their names..=X
Tumo the time keeper..
He had a jolly time laughing at people like me who can't solve that whatever you call it..
But he managed to solve it though..
He did that problem solving thing last.
Edwin was the first guy who managed to solve it..

Weng Hoe is really into that problem solving thing..
Look at his expression..XD
Looking intensely at the people who were solving that whatever you call it..Xp

Carmen solved them within seconds..
And earned herself a box of Rocky!Xp

That's Freddy the Fox,
The sexiest fox in the department.

I like this best..
Its cute and I remember its name!=D

This two were checking out Pooh bear to see if its a female or a male..
Wednesday...
Its nerd day for ussss!!:)

Reen and I..
She's really really farnee..

Jeez! Jyun looks super nerdish...X)

The retards..=X

And I am the proud owner of a MyVi!
Its grey in colour and urhm..its lighter?(d'oh!)
What else?
Oh yeah..
My week....
Ishhhh....
Alright?
I guess??
Stats class was fun though.

Neways..
I sat for my Study Skills finals.
And it was easy peasy.
Such a waste of resources and time having to sit for the paper.
We were tested on stuff like procrastination, goals setting and some study skills crap..
And those stuff are procedural..
(In simple words, it's done outta habit)
Of course we are supposed to know them since we are all students
*rolled eyes*
But yet, there are some jokers who fret over that petty paper..
Getting all stressed up over that thing=_____="
I do wonder how will these people survive in our second year of uni..
Like seriously.
I moan for the trees for they've sacrificed themselves for us!
Poor trees=(
And to think its Earth Day two days ago..=____=

Owh, I read this amazing book by Cathy Glass..
And, it's worth reading?
I guess its something rather different in a way..
I like the main character, Jodie, the lil girl with Dissociative Identity Disorder
(something like split/multiple personality disorder)..
I like it how heartless that lil girl can be..
And how aggressive she is..
I am hoping that my campus library will have more of her books..
Or Torey Hayden..
I love these authors..
Besides Jodie Picoult(her books are irresistible)
I also managed to dig for more good reads,
This book that I am reading right now..
Some sorta speaks to me directly or indirectly..
I wonder why isn't it banned here(whats in it should be pretty sensitive)
Actually almost everything in this country is sensitive..

For now..
I think I gotta catch up with my research.
