De best lunch ever!

Ohmygosh!
I just had de best lunch with my girlfriends just now!
(I am exaggerating, but wth, I had a good time)
It has been AGES since we've met!
Since I've left ICPU actually..
Its so ever nice to be able to catch up with these two jokers again.
You met there were a lot of laughter and heaps of teasing going on among us.

Carlene joined us too,
Just knew her and I am just about to remember her name=)

We should have a get together every Wednesday!:)
If possible!:P

So I had English for Psychology class today..
And it was dull. Period.
I was super happy when my lecturer dismissed us and I actually jumped with glee in front of her when she was still looking at me=_____=
How humiliating.
Yesterday I did another stupid thing in front of my tutorial group..
Thank goodness it was Dr Alia who was teaching us, so we all laughed at my stupidity=.=

I want a sugar glider so so much!
Though I am thinking of keeping another pet, which will be a tortoise..
But man..
I want a sugar glider!!:(
That lil thing is shoooo cute!
I am so tempted to sell my sis's hamster off and get myself a sugar glider,
Which, is definitely not possible.=X

Still, its no harm to exclaimed with distress about the fact that I want a sugar glider shoooooo much!
But its so expensive to get one though.
=S
Which, will end up in the category of nono in my parent's list=(

I want a sugar glider:(

Mondays=/

Once again, I am stuck in campus on a Monday evening thinking about my comfortable bed back home.

So its Monday again, and Monday isn't my favourite day of the week.
For one, I find it incredibly hard to drag myself away from the bed in the morning,
Another, I have an insanely crazy rather hectic schedule on Monday that includes an hour break in between for every two hours.

Lessons was alright today..
I am currently blogging from the computer lab to be honest,
And I am supposed to be going through my notes.
But my mind isn't in it YET!XD

I am feeling rather tired, and all I can think of now is my bed!=)
*yawn*
It sucks not having my car with me now cause I really wanna go home>.<
Sucks for me I am left alone when my mates are all on their way back home now.
Booo hoooo!=(

Anyway, I just feel like ranting for a bit today, since I am feeling rather drained.
Back to reading my notes.

Be trusting but not naive

So now I sorta get what makes that short temperamental nature emerging outta me.
Cause I've been searching and I am still trying to get over the disappointment.
Just so I am trying to forget and erase that particular "you" off my mind,
But I realized its no use trying so hard to erase your image off my mind..
The "unconscious factor" been playing a huge role that without realizing it,
I know I was in denial.

Despite of how frustrating that thing can be,
That cannot stop me from being happy=)
I hate you for being so ever complicated!
I just want simplicity in certain things.

Trying to finish reading Freud darkness in the midst of vision by Louis Breger, and I must say, that man is one hell of a complicated man! He came out with theories just to justify certain things that he did in the past and to be honest, I don't think that man even understands himself!

And oh, did I mentioned that I am uber annoyed with my campus's Christian Fellowship club? Well the other day I approached the president of the club to tell her about some issues regarding to some people being tortured for believing in their teachings and they should like spread the word around and have a petition against it. And guess what I got as an answer? Well, they told me they'll PRAY about it.*rolles eyes* Like dude! What's the use of prayers when you don't put anything in action? Its all about working for what you want, prayers do help, but I am sure God wouldn't want you ONLY to PRAY and WAIT for Him for an answer no? An answer could be obtained if you work on what you want besides praying.

Do not give me your religious crap alright?
I can't stand those shit.
People like you guys tarnished God's image.

First week, ice-breaking.

Hey ya!!

Back to blogging and I've not been updating my blog since my first lesson in Uni for some reason. Cause for one, my week started off with a crazy hectic schedule. And when I got back home, I am already drained from what I did in campus for that day itself.

Transportation has been a problem for me this week..
Hence I am hoping that I'll get my car soon cause right now, I can still tolerate with the fact that I have a problem with going back home after my classes since my lecturers are all very kind to us this week and for that I don't have any assignments to do yet except for an article to analyze.

I got to know my classmates better when I first started my lesson with them.
I can't remember all their names but I do remember the names of the peeps that I hang out with.

I have good lecturers.
Dr Alia speaks our language and I don't find lesson a drag.
Even stats class wasn't a drag for a change! Cause Dr Ranjitha's explanation is so much better compared to my previous Data Management lecturer!XD

So for my first semester, we are doing most of the compulsory subjects such as Research Method, Study Skills(which is only for 4 weeks), English for Psychology and the chosen ones are Introduction to Psychology and Statistics.

This week, there were a lot of introduction to our subjects..
Some lecturers were short..
Tutorial were..hrm..alright.
But we all know that it'll be so much different soon!
We were reminded by our lecturers about having to read a lot..
And doing well and that sorta stuff..

Before this when I was doing my Canadian Pre University course..
There were 70% coursework(which of course includes all our unit tests and quizez, besides assignment) and 30% from our finals..
That's the American education system.
However now, I am learning under the British education system which is the total opposite of the American education system where 70% are from our finals and 30% are from our coursework.

One thing that is so obvious which is, university life is different.
But I thank my previous lecturers from my previous course for giving us the first hand experience about how is it like after our pre university course. You guys will get what I meant by that later as my post progressed about what I did in university.

I don't find it hard to make new friends..
And I don't find it hard to adapt to this whole new environment.
No doubt, my friends now are really different from the mates from my pre university course..
But they are really friendly.
At least I think some of them are=)

So today we only had an hour tutorial.
Headed over to Pyramid for lunch with my classmates..
Jyun, Violet, Elaine, Ummaiyah and Aruna couldn't join us for some reason..
Which means, Carmen, Weng Hoe, another dude(I still can't remember his name) and I hung out together..

Carmen, one of my classmate. She did FIA in Sunway before this and she's a really sweet girl

He's one of my classmate who is from Botswana. There are 10 of them all together who are from there. They all have really complicated names and I am still trying to remember their names. He's a traveller and he hangs out with anyone..XD
Aruna, my ex high school senior, she's now my classmate!!=) And Elaine, she was from Convent, she too is my classmate. Aruna and I are in the same tutorial group. Except for Elaine and Violet who are both in tutorial group 2. And the rest who are from tutorial group 2, I can't remember all their names cause for one, they all have chinese names and I can't remember chinese names most of the time=X Not being a stereotype, but I have a really tough time remembering a lot of names. Looks like Weng Hoe and Jia Hui are the only two chinese names that I can remember>.<
Ummaiyah, she's from Pakistan. She was intially quiet, but after a couple of days, she began to open up=) She's really funny! Today I found out that's she's homesick when she first started this course cause I bumped into her in the cafeteria and ended up chatting with her..^^ She has a rather thick accent and she speaks really fast. Unless you are sitting next to her or in front of her, you'll find it rather hard to get what is she trying to tell you.

I remembered during our first few lessons, we laughed when she speaks. I know we are not supposed to laugh but some of us can't help it. I laughed too when the peeps who were sitting behind me were laughing and I can't helped myself cause I have images of Russel Peters imitating the indians. But later we got used to her speaking really fast along with her heavy indian accent.

Jyun, he was from Taylors and he did SAM there, graduated and did a year of Business course in Monash, since his dad gave him no choice other than to pursue business, buthen his dad gave in later after he noticed that he wasn't happy in the course, so there he is in my course=) The other day when I had to spent 3 hours waiting for my dad, we chatted about so many different things from our childhood, our high school and funny experiences back then. He's really funny! He can joke without laughing at his own joke. He might look super serious but his looks are deceiving, cause this dude can really joke! Plus, he's the so called "outlier" in my class cause he's so tall!Xp

Weng Hoe, our campus tour guide. Since Elaine, Aruna and I are still new to the campus, he showed us around. He showed us places to have our lunch in besides the cafeteria, place to hang out and helped us with our password thingy in the computer lab. He's a MU fan and he reminds me a lot of Jia Shen(well sorta, though Jia Shen is one real cracko!)

Had lunch at Kim Gary..

My tomato soup and Carmen's creamy soup..

Our baked cheese rice..

Carmen and I have this habit of biting our straws..
We were both chewing on our straws while we were chatting after lunch..
Its funny cause we were both sitting next to each other,
And we were both chewing our straws like its the most delicious thing is the world!
XD

Carmen is a ballerina, she loves dancing, pink and she's nice=)

Forgotten what did they call these girls..
But we spot them nearby McD..
Since we were watching Charles skating.
Charles is one of my classmate,
He loves ice hockey and he usually trains at Pyramid ice skating ring..
And there's William who is a super blur guy.
Reason why I remember their names its because of my lecturer who laughed at the presence of the two "princes" in my class..XD
Weng Hoe(mango+pineapple), Carmen(chocolate+banana), and I(raspberry+strawberry) had ice-creams..

My three other classmates were also there..

And I can't remember their names!=X
Though they are the first few I've met during my orientation..

Got stucked in the traffic on my way back home..
Dad drove the car instead since it'll take ages for us to reach home if I waited..
For some reason, I was rather quick tempered after a loooong day..
And that's so not me getting tempremental easily so I guess its just the PMS=.=
At least I admitted that for now!
But its Friday already..
And since I don't have any assignments to work on yet,
I shall take advantage of this temporary freedom of mine!=)

Have a nice weekend peeps!

Wedding bells

Attended akak's wedding dinner just now..
An indian wedding to be exact.
To be honest, I prefer attending indian weddings compare to the chinese ones..
Chinese ones are such drag!
I mean the performances, the waiting and everything. Its boring.
That's chinese weddings..

The indian weddings on the other hand..
Its different? *d'oh*
Pravin performed and Jana was his guitarist and I think they did a good job..
That's the only performance though I am looking forward to some indian dance or something..
Urhm..then food is served, we socialized and after that we left.
It was short and sweet.

The girl who is standing next to me is my lil sis.

Deam.
I don't know where should I head to for my first lesson tomorrow..
Though I know which classroom should I go to, but I don't know where is the location of the classroom.

Tried to look at the map but being me, I got rather confused with what is in the map.
Ah gee! I am hoping that I'll bump into any one of my classmate tomorrow morning..

Congratulations akak!:)

Oh yeah, the other day I was annoyed with my dad giving me wrong directions all the time in the car, he managed to find some other way to lead me to my destination. My dad is awesome though he's sucky at directions. I think I took after him in that sense=X

And the car dealer got screwed by my parents for giving us false information all the time. LOL!

Orientation

I am officially a Sunway University College student.
Attended the orientation program yesterday and it was alright,
Just the usual briefings the new students or the new intakes will receive regarding to the course and the university.
I made new friends and met old friends.
=)

It is such a coincidence that Aruna is my classmate and Elaine!
Elaine was previously from Convent, and she was from Taylors before this and guess what?
I had no idea that she was from Taylors last year!
As for Aruna, she was a senior from my high school..
She took 6 months break after she's done with her A levels and I was surprised when I saw the two girls in my class.
It was a pleasant surprise.
As for my mates..
Well we don't really have much time to get to know each other,
But I do know some of them though I still have a hard time remembering names
(as usual).

So when I was waiting for Aruna somewhere since she wanted to use the ladies,
A guy approached me..
I thought he's some guy from the Middle East or some Pakistani dude from that campus,
And well I wasn't paying much attention to the passer by but he came up to me and said :

Guy : Hey! You are Stitch right!?
Me : *surprised, cause nobody calls me Stitch unless they knew me from..well somewhere? And people that I be friended with in college, don't know I have a pet name Stitch* Yes, I am. *look at him curiously*
Guy : I am insert name (I can't remember his name! My bad!) from Aziz tuition? I was the guy with turban and I have my hair short now..
Me : *did a double take* What? Oh, urhm..yeah, I was from Aziz's class but I can't remember anyone by that name(actually I can't remember any guys from that class! LOL! Whoops!=X)

So we talked for a while, I told him he doesn't look local and we catched up a lil?
It wasn't awkward but it was funny.
I mean you should see how I react towards that cause I seriously didn't expect that coming.
Stitch huh?
LOL!

Got my timetable..
And holy! I have classes everyday..
But on certain days there are only tutorials so yeah,
I'm cool with it.

Orientation ended at about 5.30pm..
Hence, I was stucked in the massive traffic jam on the way back home,
Got back, and my eyes were HEAVY cause I didn't sleep much the night before..
I got up just now and I am trying to get myself to bed again.

Till then.

Siobhan

Siobhan Magnus is the BOMB!
She just mad my day.

I like her performance on American Idol very much..
Though it reminded Kara DioGuardi of Adam Lambert.

Indeed I was in a foul temper just now..
But that temper simmers after a while, thanks to my dawg..XD

And oh,
Crystal Bowersox is good too!:D

They are my two favourite contestants in idol season 9...
The guys contestants are dull..

Fuck you!

My dad is TERRIBLE at giving road directions.
Whats worse?
He's a frightful terrible driving instructor!

Just now, I drove my mom back from work and sis back from her mates place after her drama practice, along with the dad in the car cause he is still paranoid about me crashing his dear Vios..

My patience is now as thin as a piece of paper after having him sitting next to me for an hour or so when I was driving. I don't mind the horrible traffic but I DAMN WELL MIND HIM BEING SUCH A HORRIBLE DRIVING INSTRUCTOR and having such frightful HORRENDOUS skill at giving road direction.

When I am SUPPOSED to turn LEFT, he kept insisting that I should go straight and well why am I not surprised when I got all confused at where am I supposed to go on the road.

Tsk tsk..

Dad, you shouldn't sit next to me when I am driving anymore.

One more week and I am done with you. I can't stand you giving me road directions when you are so terrible at it! You confused me when I am on the road, and I don't mind smashing your car into some other car if that'll stop you from sitting next to me when I am driving.

I miss Uncle Alex. He's so much cooler as a driving instructor.

And why am I not surprised when I just got to know that I'll have to wait for ANOTHER BLOODY FUCKING WEEK for my car.

Fuck you bloody cretinous full of your bullcrap car dealer!
It took me a month PLUS PLUS to get my car.
Well done you asshole, now my patience is running really thin.

FUCK YOU!
I.AM.SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.PISSED!!!

Blehhh.=p

Alice in Wonderland

Watched Alice in Wonderland with my bro this noon.
If its not for Johnny Depp, I don't think I'll be that eager to watch it.

My sister's mates came over to my place for their drama practice this noon..
I was still at home when they were here..
When I left my room and get myself downstairs..
The whole room went pitched silent for god knows what reason..
My sister's mates were giggling like girls before that and when I was in the same room as they are,
They've gone silent.
And I swear I can almost hear a pin drop..=X

And you bet it was AWKWARD!
I didn't expect the room to get so quiet when I was there,
And another..
I didn't expect them to look at me or even bothered to stare.
Its rather intimidating I must day, though they are a bunch of girls and I am a girl who is about to be an adult soon.

My sister's mates were all big girls.
You guys should get what I mean by that..
I feel small when I am with them=X
I reckoned my sister been telling her mates how *coughs* short *coughs* I am..
And my presence at home when they are around confirmed their curiosity.
Yes, I have a 14 year old sister who is bigger than I am, in the aspect of height and size. Now I am actually thinking twice about the consequences of being "small".

No, I am not thinking of imagining 6 impossibles before breakfast like Alice did.
Neither am I trying to wish for that cake that will make me taller when I eat it..
But I wish there's a place called Wonderland though.

Of bugs and pet peeves

Mei Shan and I are having this ridiculous discussion about our pet peeves in Twitter.

Note : For those who are following me in twitter, I apologize for the "gory" details=X

1.

@Caseymshan Can I have one of those? Cause I think my bestie might want them as her pet=X 6 minutes ago via web in reply to Caseymshan

2.

@Caseymshan ....you guys sure are brutal. Btw do you eat frogs/snakes? Heard they are good food=p 10 minutes ago via web in reply to Caseymshan

3.

@Caseymshan Snakes, hen/cock, frogs, fishes, tortoise etc. Animals sure know how to pick their owner eh?

4.

@Caseymshan If you are not an animal lover those animals will not choose to visit ya place no? Cause in one of ur tweets, you said there are

5.

@Caseymshan Shit in their body? Roaches? Hrm..I wonder if we can send it to the CSI and get it checked to see whose shit are those=X

6.

@Caseymshan Once I smashed a roach with a plastic bag cause I don't want to touch it, and maggots were crawling outta them after that!=X

7.

@Caseymshan You are officially an animal lover & pest killer expert! Wth? Animal lover & pest killer expert together?o.O

8.

@Caseymshan Looks like you've been spending loads of time with those lil creatures. Congratulations sista!

9. Caseymshan my house got roaches, lizards, bettles/bugs, moths/butterflies, cock/hen, snakes, frogs, crickets, fishes, tortoise, etc......... wth!! =__=
* Retweeted

10.

@Caseymshan Hahahahaha! Whoaaaaaa!!! Violent!!o.O Yea, the cleaning floor part, ey btw, do roaches bleeds? I know Lizards do=X

11.

@Caseymshan Yes yes..:p Hahaha! Lizards, I hate them. And roaches. Ugh!

And in Facebook :
Our "discussion"

Anyway, I am still trying to finish reading "The Historian"(I'm not even half way through it! Haha.) Its an incredibly DRAGGY book. I don't mind the story line, there are a lot of suspense going on here and there, buthen my mind tend to wander everytime I read that book.

Arrggghhh!!!

I've read these for the past few weeks :

1) Twilight Children by Torey Hayden
2) Just Another Kid by Torey Hayden
3) Ghost Girl by Torey Hayden
4) If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern (again!)
5) Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult

6 - 14 I couldn't remember the title of the book or who wrote them cause I borrowed them from the library during my stay in Aussie. And most of them are filled with heaps of gory details and depressing stories told by someone.

Some are good reads. Some are just junk? Cause by the end of the story, I went like wtf is that supposed to be, that sorta thing. But the few books above are those that I owned and its something that I don't mind reading again.

So I've started with another new book. My 5th/6th book that I've been reading so far since I got back home from Aussie. I'm having insomnia for the past one week. Which means, I can't sleep at night, and that means, I usually stayed up till the am's reading since I can't bloody sleep! And its so unhealthy in the sense that I'll be awake in the noon and half the day is gone by then, and that means, I'm skipping breakfast which is supposed to be a MUST for me and sometimes lunch since I always wake up with an awful appetite.

Oh did I tell you guys that when I was away for a vacation, I eat well and stuff? But guess what? I've lost 0.8kg during my stay there and that's weird cause I remember eating most of the time there, stuffing myself with a lot of junk food. Junk food and I don't really go well together, unless its ice-cream, that's a different story=X

I think I gotta get myself to sleep properly and stop being such a nocturnal cause its frigging unhealthy? Ah gee! Did I just mention the word unhealthy again!? Mind you, I am not a health freak. Well at least I think so. Cause I don't eat my greens and I can't survive without meat in any of my meals=X

Right.
I.have.to.eat.my.meals.accordingly.and.sleep.properly.
There.
