So far in November..

A colleague told me that there's a good cafe to check out.

And so we went.

I like that place.

Definitely going back again:)

 My cup of latte.

Strong enough but not too strong.

First time I've tried something like this

 Sis told me that there's a burger joint in Klang.

The concept is something like burgerlab.

It's called Burgerland..

 Sis's fish burger

She said it's not greasy

 Jyun's grilled chicken burger

 My super greasy fried chicken burger.

Don't like it.

Buns were soggy due to the sauce..

 Curly fries were so salty.

Will I go back?

Urhm..not really..

Not worth the calories.

As if I care.

But heck. It's so greasy and it's nothing like burgerlab although I find burgerlab overrated 

Recently..

Colleagues and I went for a short trip to Gold Coast, Sepang.

Stayed in a beautiful holiday villa..

 Finally back on the bike after 5 years!

Initially I was stumbling alot..

Then I pushed myself to relearn it and wallah! I remembered how to cycle!

On our way home..

We dropped by Aunty Aini's cafe.

It's somewhere in Nilai.

The ambiance of the place reminded me a lot of Tamarind Springs..

 Finally tried tempoyak.

It's basically durian sauce with fish.

Doesn't taste much of the durian..

It was delish!

 Petai and prawns sambal

 Burung puyuh

 Chicken rendang..

In other words, coconut sauce curry chicken?

 Petai!

My favvvv!!

 It was a good short get away.

Although I just had my getaway.

Har harrrr! :P

Jyun and I wanted to have mille crepe cakes at Nadeje but it was crowded.

Back up plan..

We headed over to Butter & beans at seventeen

Wanted to try that cafe for ages but it was always packed.

It's a tiny cafe.

I am super glad that our plans didn't work out

Cause I like this quaint lil cafe.

They played good songs, have great coffee albeit strong, and good pastries

I like it but it makes me jittery and do weird things to my tummy..

Will definitely go back for latte

The year 2012, so far...

9 days into the New Year.

And it has been rather eventful. 

I'm going to let the pics below to speak for itself :)

And I'm going to begin with.. 

New Year's eve.. 

I had brunch at Levain and packed Subway for dinner, 

Managed to skip pathetic bachelor night "party" (I don't know whose wedding is it anyway).

Stayed indoors, avoid the terrible crowd and traffic, 

Watched Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother :) 

Hung out with these two people..
My bro was checking out his new place,
Since he has to stay nearby his campus so yeah, he's rather busy too..

1st of Jan..

Barbeque gathering with the classmates.

The next day.... 

                           My sis, her friend, Jyun and I headed over to Genting..

Jyun and I agenda is to watch Freeze live magic show in Genting..

As for my sis and her friend, they wanted to go there for the rides

The show was AMAZING!

We couldn't snap any photograph during the show,

But we were both STOKED and MESMERIZED!

Throughout the entire show there were alot of wow's and laughter from the audience..

And we sat on the third row from the stage (since Jyun got us the VIP tickets).

It was our first live magic show on stage or on ice...

The performers were BRILLIANT! 

Made us wonder how long did they take to rehearse..

Wowness..

And it's full house on the day of the show, 

Worth the trip there despite of the insane crowd since it's the public holiday.

Yesh, we got really excited after the show,

So much so we couldn't get proper pics of ourselves after the performance =p

After the show...

We hung out at one of our favourite coffee place,

Yesh,

Starbucks :)

Couldn't find Coffee Beans so Starbucks can do..

Jyun got his usual/our usual Dark Mocha drink

(He's hooked on the drink since I introduced him to that drink)

Also sort of turned him into a coffee lover.

*grins*

I got my hot Mocha drink since the weather is cold and I had the flu that time.

We passed by outdoors and decided to see how cold is it outside.

It was drizzling that night..

And jeez! It was extremely cold outside,

I can hardly feel my hands after that for a bit..

HAHA!

The Christmas deco were still around..

:)

 

Then it's back home..

Sis and her friend were playing Chubby Bunny in the bus on the way home..

The next day,

I had to work at the kindergarten.

First day of school for the children,

A handful came in screaming wailing crying REALLY LOUDLY.

I am not sure if "loud" is an understatement..

Cause some of their cries were ear piercing

I swear, I am not exaggerating. 

Now I understand why they need a few helpers to help out for a bit.. 

And I must say..

Children, despite of them being super adorable and funny,

It's not easy to handle them.

But, they can really make you laugh although they make your blood boils most of the time..
