My flight to Auckland took me approximately 14 hours all together.
30 mins to Singapore and waited for about 3 hours ish and 10 hours to reach Auckland.
It was one heck of a ride.
I know it's nothing compares to flying to Europe or the States.
But 10 hours feels like a day to me.
For some reason.
I am not going to talk about it here cause I am glad that I managed to land Auckland safe.
It was not my first solo trip.
And it will not be my last.
I passed by Sydney and it was night time.
I can see tonnes of stars filled the sky.
It was such a beautiful sight.
Then as we approached New Zealand..
I saw that.
So when I touched down Auckland aka the city of sails,
Jian asked me what do I want for brunch.
And obviously, I chose to dine in a cafe
The cafes there are wonderful.
I am spoilt for choice in a good way.
Latte in this cafe was strong..
Poached eggs, bacon and toasts.
Haven't eaten poached eggs that looks so elastic..
Bacon was really salty though.
I know bacon is supposed to be salty but this is really salty...
Maybe my body is still tired from my journey there because I hardly slept a wink.
So I wasn't really hungry when I got there but I know I need to eat something.
Headed over to the beach on my first day there!
And there was a playground nearby.
Swings were all occupied though :(
The next day I explore the city.
Mainly by foot cause I will get to discover interesting places..
The city reminded me of Melbourne city and KL.
It's so congested and packed.
Heaps of Asians.
Bumped into loads of Korean grocery stores along my way.
Skycity.
It's like KLCC but shorter.
I got lost.
And bumped into another cafe.
Bacon cheese bread.
The bread tasted a lil like the scones that my brother made.
As you can see I got lazy to describe the places.
But I guess from the photographs you can roughly tell what are those places..
I will be going back to my usual routine tomorrow.
Been away for half a month.
So I don't know what to expect.
I am looking forward to it though.
Till then.
