Mothers Day

Dear mummy,

I grew up learning from you that nobody will be there to help me if I cannot help myself. I also grew up learning from you that I have to have faith in myself when everyone else tries to make me feel that I am not good enough. Your dedication in making sure that I always keep my grades up and reminding me to get things done on time made me who I am today which is a good thing since I cannot leave things to the last minute and for that I thank you mom. I thank you for making me to work for what I want instead of giving it to me because that taught me to appreciate what I have.

Although the expectations you have for me is so damn high because I am the eldest in the family and at the same time the pressure that you put on me is more than the rest of the siblings, but I know you do that because you want me to be better. So thank you very much for drilling into my head that I have to be self sufficient and persistent in the things that I set my mind to do because in this field that I am in right now, I need more than a hundred percent of determination and persistence to keep striving so that I can be good enough. Thank you.

I try to be a good daughter everyday and not only on mothers day so you'll be proud to have a daughter like me. I do not need mothers day to remind me how much effort you put into to raise me because I know that you work so darn hard to ensure that we get the best education possible and I am so very grateful for that. 

To make things short, this post is dedicated to my mother who may have personality type A a very Happy Mothers Day.

Us Malaysian mourned last night when our views and voices were being pushed aside.

But we know that it's not the end of democracy in this country

This election is the most intense election ever.

As a Malaysian who just turned 21 I managed to get myself registered as a voter.

I've done my part for the country.

What about you?

For the past few weeks I've seen Malaysians stand strong together showing their spirit of 1 Malaysia.

All these's while the concept of 1 Malaysia has been shoved down to our throats when we don't really feel the spirit.

To me the lies, corruptions, and empty promises has to be ended right now.

Today we get to get our voice heard.

1 Malaysia was a bullshit propaganda for me until I saw the true spirit of 1 Malaysia from people who stand together for a clean election.

Change aka UBAH is what we are looking for.

Even my lil bro who has not turn 21 yet is trying to play his part :)

Big Hug Burger & Whisk

I was craving for burger for quite sometime now..

Not those fast food kind,

But good burgers that are prepared from scratch.

A classmate recommended Big Hug Burger joint at SS15 (located at Subang Square specifically).

So we went over to that burger joint to give it a try.

It opens at 12.30pm and the line is slowly building up as the time is ticking.

The lady at the counter was a very friendly lady who makes her customer feel very welcome.

You'll get what I mean when I underline that word if you drop by that place ;)

It was a rather cozy burger joint (don't really like the seats though but the atmosphere is good enough)

Looks more comfortable as compared to the wooden chair that I was sitting on

 We had the onion rings..

It was deep fried in olive oil.

One good thing I like about it is that it doesn't taste so sinfully oily.

And it taste good :) 

Just the way I like it.

 Jyun's grilled chicken burger (sesame bun) with herbs fries

He likes it and herb fries was fat and juicy.

Like these sort of fries..

Again, the fries doesn't taste extremely oily and makes me feel guilty after eating it..

 I opted for the fish fillet burger with wholewheat bun.

The bread was so soft and I like how it taste in my mouth.

There's garlic spread which perhaps made my burger a bit salty..

But I like it.

Wanted to try their grilled salmon since I really like salmon but they ran out of it and didn't make any new batch of salmon :(

Will go back for that perhaps?

Their big hug burger is their signature burger if I am not mistaken since alot of the customers tried that.

It looks huge though.

And it looks gooddddddddd..

They have more selection of chicken burger and you get to between three types of burger buns (charcoal bun, sesame seed or wholewheat)

You get to top up your burger with bacon, egg, etc with additional charge..

Last but not least,

My double shot of espresso latte from Whisk.

Tomorrow is the day where we do something to make a change here.

Malaysians, please vote if you're registered to vote.

Our future is in your hand :)
